The coronavirus essentially shut down travel -- local and internationally -- for the past year. With more people getting vaccinated, we're starting to see some hope that we can go on adventures again in the near-ish future . In the meantime, we've got Google Maps. Whether you're still anxious about the world opening back up, wanting to get a look at some locations before booking a trip, or your lust for travel exceeds your budget, you can take a mini-trip from home quite easily. Just pull up Google Maps on your PC or phone and start your search. While you can check out maps from everywhere on Earth, the Street View and Photo Sphere tools let you digitally roam virtually anywhere. To explore on your PC, first make sure you're in satellite mode. Click and drag the little yellow person in the bottom right of the screen to any blue highlighted spot on the map. Default passwords make IP cameras surprisingly easy to hack

Following the recent breach of the startup Verkada that allowed hackers to access thousands of security cameras including in jails and even Tesla offices, CyberNews decided to conduct its own investigation to find out if there are more public-facing cameras that can be easily accessed. To conduct its research, the news outlet analyzed cameras connected to the internet worldwide made by the 30 most recognized manufacturers. In the end, CyberNews found 380,000 remote-access cameras with 27 brands selling their products with default credentials. The exposed cameras it discovered online are all CCTV/ IP cameras that can be used for CCTV surveillance both outdoors and indoors. Russia is going back to the moon this year

Russia is revisiting its Soviet space heritage for a new series of missions that will take the nation back to the m o on . The first of those missions, dubbed Luna 25, is scheduled to launch this October, ending a 45-year drought of Russian moon landings with the nation's first arrival at the south pole, where, like everyone else targeting the moon, Russian scientists want to study water locked below the surface in permanent ice. "The moon is the center of our program for the next decade," Lev Zelenyi, scientific advisor for the Russian Space Research Institute, said during a virtual presentation on March 23 hosted by the National Academy of Sciences.
