NEW DELHI: Last year in September Google talked about an upcoming feature in Assistant which will reduce the unintentional hotword activations. As part of a privacy measure Google has started rolling out a feature which will allow users to tune how the sensitive Smart Displays and speakers will react to Hey Google. As reported by The Verge, the company is gradually rolling out Hey Google’ sensitivity setting. Using the feature users will be able to raise or lower the sensitivity of the device and make it more or less responsive to the hotword. In a different report XDA Developers also showed that the new feature is available under the device settings in the version 2.21 of Google Home client. Users will notice a simple slider with three increments. Moving the slider towards the left will make it least sensitive and moving it towards right will make it most sensitive. Chinese brand Realme has announced that it will launch two new products, smartwatch and smart TV in India on May 25. Realme Smart TV will be the company’s first-ever TV. Ahead of the launch, the company has started accepting blind orders for the upcoming device. As announced on Realme forum page, those interested can pay a deposit of Rs 2,000 to ensure 100% chance to buy Realme's smart TV. Blind sale buyers will also get an assured coupon of Rs 500 on June 1 automatically in their Realme account. How blind orders work Users can make a deposit of Rs 2,000 till May 24. As previously said, this ensures 100% chance to buy the new product in advance. The remaining purchase value of Realme smart TV can be paid once the official price is announced on May 25. BBK-owned Realme has already confirmed that the company is going to launch its first smart TV in India on May 25. Ahead of the launch, the upcoming device has made an appearance on Flipkart’s website in form of a dedicated webpage where the key specs of the Realme smart TV are revealed. As per the Flipkart listing, the device offers a “bezel-less design” and comes equipped with Chroma Boost Picture Engine image processing technology with up to 400 nits of ultra bright display, which is claimed to be 20% brighter than the average TVs in this segment. The Realme smart TV is listed to be powered by 64-bit MediaTek processor (unconfirmed), however, it will be a “first-in-segment” claims listing.
