If the Internet had a Time -like Person of the Year, 2013 was unarguably the year of Miley Cyrus — or maybe just her tongue. In what seemed like one fell swoop, Miley came in like a wrecking ball after her VMAs performance, shocking us with crazy outfits and tongue antics. See also: Miley Cyrus Explains the Mystery of Her Incessant Tongue Wag The pop star is not the first to establish this trademark, though younger generations might not immediately think of Gene Simmons or the iconic Rolling Stones logo. Even lizards were sticking their tongues out before Cyrus. Now everyone is hopping on this fun and cute photo trend. If there's one thing we accomplish in 2014, let's put an end to tongue pictures. 1. You may think you look like a badass. Image: Ethan Miller/Getty Images for Clear Channel 2. Apple to stop selling iMac Pro base model, which is listed as available ‘while supplies last’
In a sign that the iMac Pro is on the way out, the only model currently available for purchase on the Apple Store website is the $4,999 base configuration, “while supplies last.” As first reported by 9to5Mac , all build-to-order configurations for the iMac Pro have been removed from Apple’s site (but may still be available at third-party retailers like Amazon). Apple tells The Verge once supplies of the base model run out, iMac Pro will no longer be available. It’s not a huge surprise that Apple may be phasing out the iMac Pro; there have been well-sourced reports that the company will be introducing a redesigned iMac and doing a revamp of the Mac Pro sometime this year. Bloomberg reported in January that the overhaul would get rid of the “chin” beneath the screen, and have a flat-back design. Apple hasn’t officially deemed the iMac Pro as discontinued, but it’s unusual for the company to use “while supplies last” in its product listings. In the meantime, the 27-inch … [Read more...] about Apple to stop selling iMac Pro base model, which is listed as available ‘while supplies last’
No, Chromium browsers aren’t going anywhere any time soon
Android & Chill Google is simply doing what it does best — keeping its extras to itself. Jerry Hildenbrand 6 Mar 2021 1 Source: Jerry Hildenbrand / Android Central I've seen something being shared around that looks like terrible news for anyone who loves the way Chrome can render a web page but hates the extra bloat that's baked into Google's browser. According to It's FOSS — a web site dedicated to all things open-source and a site I read regularly — third-party browsers that use Chromium are being locked out of certain features because Google is worried about market share. That would be a devastating loss to you, me, and the internet as a whole if it were the case, but I don't think it has anything to do with the market share of Chrome or that Google really cares about the particular features in play here. It's just Google making sure that only you and it have access to sensitive information stored in your Google account. Miley Cyrus Cries and Goes Nude in ‘Wrecking Ball’ Video
Reminiscent of Sinéad O'Connor's "Nothing Compares 2 U" video, Miley Cyrus ' music video for power ballad "Wrecking Ball" resonates with beauty shots of the tearful singer. The softer approach is a stark contrast from Cyrus' performance at the MTV VMAs in which she twerked on Robin Thicke while wearing a large foam finger. Cyrus licks a sledgehammer and chain of a wrecking ball, at times riding the destructive sphere in the nude. Famed fashion and portrait photographer Terry Richardson directed for "Wrecking Ball," which sits tight at No. 9 on iTunes top singles chart. Aside from the video, Cyrus on Monday also was announced as Saturday Night Live 's Oct. 5 host and performer.
