I3 8350K is overclockable quad, very close to the 7th gen 7600K so it is quite reasonable at MSRP compared to locked 6th and 7th gen I5 and at $140 You got a great deal. Unlike the 7th gen I3 7350K two core four thread for $180 MSRP.
