Apple reportedly may have a plan to take away your worry of fake camera replacement post a repair. According to a report in MacRumors, a new code discovered in the second beta of the iOS 14.4 (released to developers and public beta testers recently) shows a warning on iPhones repaired with camera parts that are not genuine. “Unable to verify this iPhone has a genuine Apple camera,” reads the message. The message reportedly will appear in the Settings app under General > About. There’s also a chance that users get a similar notification on the Lock screen of the affected device for a short period.
