NEW DELHI: Honor has launched its latest flagship smartphone V40 5G in China. It is the first smartphone of the company to be launched after Huawei sold it. Smartphone maker Huawei sold Honor last year in November to a Shenzhen-based consortium of Chinese partners. Presently, the Honor V40 5G is available only in China and the company has not yet revealed any details about the global launch of the smartphone. The Honor V40 5G is powered by Dimensity 1000+ chipset and it features an FHD+ curved waterfall screen which offers 93.2% screen-to-body ratio. The smartphone comes with a starting price tag of 3,599 yuan (Rs 40,620) and it comes in Titanium Silver, Midnight Black and Rose Gold colour options. The device is up for order in China. Honor V40 5G specifications The Honor V40 5G is powered by the high-end octa-core MediaTek Dimesity 1000+ chipset with Mali-G77 MC9 GPU. The device sports a 6.72-inch FHD+ curved display with 1236×2676 pixel resolution. The display also offers a 120Hz refresh rate.
