According to court documents police responded to an incident that happened on Friday at around 6:40pm at a residence in Tamuning. Before police arrived Taimanglo and a pregnant woman were arguing. He is accused of choking her several times, throwing her on a bed and slapping her. The woman at one point threw a baking pan at him. She eventually managed to call her mother, who told her to go downstairs and wait for the police. When officers arrived they saw scratches and abrasions on her neck. Taimanglo denied ever hitting the woman and said that he had tried to push her out of his residence that night.
