THE Great British Bake Off is back with a brand new group of hopeful bakers looking to impress the judges. Among them is project manager Ruby and here’s everything you need to know about her… Who is Ruby from The Great British Bake Off 2018? Ruby Bhogal, 29, is a project manager on the London Underground. She grew up in a tight-knit Indian family as the youngest of four children. As a little girl, baking meant her mother’s jalebis to her, which are a type of Indian sweet. Now, as a busy Londoner, she loves inviting her friends around to try her baked goods, from cakes and pastries to spicy minced lamb pastry rolls. She explains her baking style as boozy and relaxed – and admits trying to sneak some alcoholic beverage into everything she makes. Why did Ruby apply for the show?
